Our team

Adl Consulting is an advisory, public affairs and institutional communication firm specialized in lobbying activities, advocacy and change management. Since 2012 we have been fostering data-based decision-making and promoting Digital Lobbying methodology within the field, with the support of structured information and institutional dashboards. 

Our people have a mix of technical and legislative skills and are characterized by continuous research for high quality standards and by a common ethical and professional approach.

Claudio Di Mario

Founding Partner

Claudio holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from “La Sapienza” University in Rome and a Ph.D. in engineering management with a final dissertation in power system economics and a Master in business engineering from “Tor Vergata” University in Rome. He has worked at Siemens AG in Berlin and Rome and as a project manager at the National Transmission Grid Operator. He has been Head of the National and European Regulations in Terna SpA and Head of Institutional Affairs in Edison SpA.

 

Marialessandra Carro

Partner

After graduating in Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome, Marialessandra completed her postgraduate studies in Growth Hacking Marketing at the Talent Garden Innovation School in Milan. Since 2007, she has worked as a Consultant in the fields of Public Affairs, Digital Lobbying and Institutional Communication for Corporates and Institutions, dealing with issues management, stakeholder engagement and digital strategies.

Margherita Bonsignore

Policy Analyst

Graduated in Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, she then continued her path abroad obtaining a double degree in Global Studies and Political Philosophy thanks to a partnership between Luiss and King’s College. After a first working parenthesis that led her to deal with research and analysis in the European field, she started her professional career in the world of Public Affairs, focusing her activities on Tech & Digital issues. She joined ADL in January 2023, where she continues to work on institutional and digital relations.

Valentina Cino

Communication & Digital Lobbying Strategist

Graduated in Organization and Marketing for Business Communication at Sapienza University in Rome, she then specialized in digital marketing through internships in start-ups and communication agencies. She has been part of the Adl Consulting team since 2019, where she has combined his passion for the digital world and that for public affairs, dealing with sustainability, integrated communication strategies, brand reputation, events and social media advocacy for customers.

Sara Delli Colli

Stakeholder & Digital Lobbying Manager

She boasts a Bachelor’s Degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, and a Master’s Degree in “Political and Institutional Communication” in the same university. She has been involved in fundraising, communication and events at leading companies and consulting firms. Since 2012 he has been in charge of communication for “Quotidiano Energia”. In 2015 she joined Adl Consulting where she holds the role of Stakeholder & Digital Lobbying Manager.

Mariabenedetta Guastellini

Public & Regulatory Affairs Analyst

Graduated in Economics and Management at LUISS University in Rome, she also obtained a double degree in Economics and International Relations at the University of Italian Switzerland and ASERI, in Milan. She started working at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. She has been part of the ADL team since October 2022, where she focuses on institutional and regulatory affairs. A voracious reader, with a passion for press and digital communication.

Giampaolo Russo

Senior Advisor

Graduated in Political Science at Luiss in 1983, he spent his professional life in the fields of finance and energy. He worked for the Bank of Italy for 17 years, with various positions in Rome and Brussels. This was followed by experiences in Enel, GlaxoSmithkline, InvestinItaly, Edison, TAP (Trans Adriatic Pipeline) and Assogas. He appreciates challenges and believes that the person always comes first and then the professional. Convinced that stakeholder management creates value for companies and institutional interlocutors, as long as it is carried out with professionalism and transparency.

Pietro Quercia

Policy Consultant

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Padua and a master’s degree in European and International Studies from the University of Trento. He carried out a six-month research period for his master’s thesis at the Institute of International Affairs, thanks to the IAI- ENI Sustainable Energy Scholarship. He has been in the Adl Consulting team since April 2019, in which he deals with legislative monitoring and research. Since the last two years he has been taking part in Forum Alpbach, an international event on politics, law, economics and society.

Francesco Scolaro

Head of Public Affairs & Policy Analysis

He holds a degree in “Political Science and International Relations” and a 2nd level Master in “European Parliamentary Institutions and Constitutional History” at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He began his professional career in public institutions, working both in the Chamber of Deputies and in the Senate of the Republic. Since 2012 he has been working as a Public Affairs consultant. In September 2013 he joined Adl Consulting in which he coordinates the legislative monitoring and analysis of public policies.

Giuseppe Sofia

Public Affairs & Digital Lobbying Analyist

Graduated in Political Science from the University of Messina, with specialization in International Relations at LUISS Guido Carli. He interned for the Department of European Policies, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and participated in the School for Public Policies of the ItaliaDecide Foundation. He joined ADL Consulting in 2021, where his role involves legislative monitoring and online content management.

Andrea Spuntarelli

Senior Policy Consultant

Graduated in Political and Communication Sciences (Bachelor’s) and in Government and Public Communication Sciences (Master’s) at Luiss in Rome, he has been part of the Adl Consulting team since 2014, where he deals with legislative monitoring, regulatory analysis and mapping of stakeholders. As a freelance journalist, he has been the Assistant of the Manager as well as Project Manager of the online newspaper LabParlamento and he edited a political in-depth column on the radio station Radio Roma Capitale.
